HAPPY 10TH MONTHS BIRTHDAY ALESHA

12 OCTOBER 2006 falls on Thursday this year. Birthday morning started as usual since its working day. Woke up in the morning..cooked Alesha's meal for the day..Boiled water for her milk...changed her diaper...and we were off to work after sending her to Nenek's place.

Only when later that evening, hubby and me realised its 12 October 2006. As I had failed to re-charge my camera's batteries ..I could not snap any pictures of Alesha on this specific day. Even this update comes a week too late. Busy Busy Busy...time flies so fast in Ramadhan!!!

However..as i said in my update earlier (many pages ago..) I have made a solemn promise to update Alesha's progress at least until she is a year old..(hopefully sampai kawen..*sob *sob *sob)

So...along with her updates...

On Sunday 15 OCTOBER 2006, several days after her 10th birthday, we were playing our normal weekend games...Sing-a-long to Little Einstein or whatever programme on Channel 63. I think Alesha wanted to show off her walking skill now...So she moved to far end leaning against a sofa..and started to walk towards me...It was only like 5 little steps...but i think she was having fun..and kept on doing it...crawling and later walking to and fro me and the sofa..It was such a delight to watch all her and this big grin and occasional chuckling coming from her.

Being a try-to-be-good-mother that I am, i scooted (did i get the spelling rite) few steps away from her. I think it was about the 8 steps away that she decided she cant walked anymore and moved on doing other stuffs.. Hehe..well..at least i got her to walk...thats good enough for me..Hopefully...she will start walking next month...coz she is getting way too heavy for me to keep on carrying her...

Ohh...and more progress...did i mentioned that i finally printed flash card from internet..Well..thanks for SI friends and in particular Miss Buttercup, i printed the flashcard from the site she mentioned. As time is limited, i can only show Alesha pictures in the card during our journey home from Nenek's place...which is about 20 minutes max..But little to our suprise...hubby and me that is, Alesha can pointed out the correct picture when i mentioned it..*grinning with pride* ..(well not literally point it..more like grasped and crunched the poor doggie picture when i said where's dog..wuff wuff)...

and if you must know..i am like a phonic flashcard now...like...wow Alesha..bus..voom voom...and cat..miaw miaw...and horse ..well..this one i am having trouble mimicing...my nostril is and most definitely blocked all the time due to sinus...heheh

What else..hmm...ahh..yes and most remarkably..Alesha now knows how to play games. This was a real suprise really. Hubby is a sport crazy and is into badminto now ..(I will get my vengeance for being left alone on every Friday's nite for your badminton time!!!!)...so 1 night, hubby wanted to show off his skill with the shuttlecock. So he tried maintaning the shuttle on air with the racket..After several sessions of shuttle-on-air-dropped-placed-on-racket again..Alesha of course, being an easily awed spectator, decided to join in. She grasped the shuttle when it fell in front of her..and to our delight placed the shuttle right onto the racket!!!

Well...its so simple really....not to be bragged about...but hey!! She's my daugther and i still want to brag even if its little things like putting the toy back to its basket thing that she does...by the way..she HAS NOT done that yet!!!!

This time update is more for me than for you readers..I guess i have to jot down some where about these, so i can still read it 3..4...or even 10 years down the road...*sob *sob..
